Will a G-Con 2 lightgun for the Playstation 2 work on an LCD or Plasma Television?

Author: I’ve got a PS2 with an official Namco G-Con 2 lightgun that I’m currently using on a regular CRT TV.
If I upgrade my TV set to an LCD or Plasma screen will the G-Con 2 lightgun still work?
I’ve heard that some lightguns don’t work with LCD and Plasma TVs - can anyone who has one tell me?
yes it should work on any type of tv

Yes it will work on most tvs but May not operate correctly if your television runs at 100hz, or if it runs on the 625 line system
So check your tv before purchace
