What kind of television should I buy for a PlayStation 3? ?

Author: I’m planing on buying a PlayStation3.
I’m wondering, what would be the best TV to buy for it?
Like, plasma? LCD? Or what?
I don’t know much about TVs, so i would really appreciate it if someone could tell me what things [like, specs] I should ask/look for when I got TV shopping.
This TV will mainly be used to play the playstation 3 games.

You should get a Full HDTV 1080i TV.
HDTV = HIGH DEFINITION Television.

is it a lamp is it cheap and is it worth it
The light flashing is some sort of an error code, count the number of times it flashes eg ….. ….. ….. then call the manufacturer’s tech support and tell them the standby flashes i increments of 5 or what ever yours is doing to find out what the code possibly means I would hate to have you buy a lamp and it not fix the problem you could also try calling a repair shop.
Why is my new plasma TV humming/buzzing?
I just bought a new Visio 42" plasma Television. It’s making a loud humming/buzzing noise. This is my first plasma TV so I don’t know much about them. Is this just normal for all plasmas or should I return it?
What do you mean a "good" one? Like a different brand?
are they supposed to be silent?
The noise is caused by a bad coil on the power supply!
Vizio doesn’t make a good plasma TV! They’re very problematic! I recommend that you take this TV back and go with a Panasonic Plasma TV! They cost a little bit more, but are much, much more reliable and trouble free! Not to mention, better performing!
Panasonic TV’s have the lowest failure rate of all HDTV brands!
